Loudoun Circuit Court: Genealogy Research
The content of this page was provided by the Loudoun Circuit Court and has been posted on Virginia's Judicial System web site as a courtesy to the Loudoun Circuit Court.
We regret that we do not have either the time or office personnel to conduct genealogy searches. If you have specific document requests and can provide book and page references for these documents, we will fill the requests, as the staff is able. The average response time is about eight weeks. Always provide a self-addressed stamped envelop for return.
Our office is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for research purposes only. Copies are 50 cents per page and must be paid for by 4:00.
Many of our researchers plan a vacation around examining old records. If this is not a viable solution, we can recommend the local genealogy library. The Thomas Balch Library is located three blocks from our office. The librarian at Thomas Balch can also provide you with a list of professional genealogists who will do research for those unable to visit Leesburg.
